Twenty Eight are pleased to present..... Ninabella, an online gift shop set-up and run by Goretti Correa in October 2013 that aims to bring unique and gorgeous things to a wider audience.

Goretti Corrêa is the name behind Ninabella. She is originally from Brazil but moved to the UK in 1995 and has been based in Edinburgh ever since. "I studied English and then did a PhD in this beautiful city.

After realising that a career in academia was not for me, I looked for something that would combine my imagination and creativity with my eye for beautiful things.

I have a passion for seeing new places and cultures.

While travelling around the world for 15 months, I started collecting things that reminded me of the beauty of the different places that I visited. Being both a proud Brazilian and very passionate about cultural diversity, I wanted to share a range of products that are not easy to find in the UK.

This led to Ninabella – a way of bringing gorgeous things to a wider audience.

As it’s important to me to give something back, I try to source products from social enterprises that work to empower women and help them play an active role in society.
