Twenty Eight are very proud to present Pibroch Scotland, a range of handmade, leather Sporrans by master craftsman, Jim Kirkwood.

Jim Kirkwood has been associated with the craft scene in Scotland for many years. Working in leather he has designed and produced a variety of original items from costume jewellery and handbags to a unique security pocket which was selected to carry the prestigious Design Centre Label.

An award winner in the 'Souvenirs of Scotland' competition, his work was also shown in the recent 'Celebrating Scotlands Crafts' touring exhibition.
Now operating under the name 'Pibroch Scotland' he specialises in his own designs for soft leather sporrans and belt purses inspired by traditional styles. These are all individually hand crafted in top quality soft hide to produce practical capacious sporrans and pouches for everyday use as they were in Scotland's colourful past.

Since 1970 ‘Pibroch’ workshops have been producing individually hand-crafted Sporrans from the finest soft hide to our own original designs.
Made entirely of leather, with no metal fixings or fastenings, our Sporrans retain
the function, feel and rugged character of traditional pre-1800 Scottish ‘Sporans’.

Pibroch Sporrans are practical and fully functional, providing usable and secure
storage for all personal items, unlike many flat production line Sporrans on offer today.
Pibroch Scotland are exhibiting at Twenty Eight from 28th March until 24th April. You can find out more about them here:
