Design Feature - Rachael's Ribbons

Twenty Eight is proud to present.... Rachael's Ribbons, a new brand of handmade accessories! Rachael’s Ribbons makes a wide range of ribbon hairbows to suit every occasion and also provides a made to match service making hairbows to match clients outfits. They also make a range of oilcloth products including tote bags, book bags and aprons.

The lady behind the new brand is Rachael Brown. "I have had an interest in all things crafty and a love of beautiful fabric and ribbons for as long as I can remember and I’m always making something or getting inspiration from beautiful objects I see around me. My degree is actually in chemistry and I worked in this field until my son was born in 2010 but after having my two children I wanted to try and do something that would allow me to stay at home for my children whilst they were young but also something that I could find both enjoyable and relaxing. "

"I started making hairbows after buying several inferior quality ones from high street stores for my daughter and realising I could make my own with far better quality materials that would stand up to the rigors of a 4 year old! I quickly became hooked on making hairbows in all shapes, forms and sizes and Rachael’s Ribbons was subsequently born. Since starting, I have diversified somewhat and now also make a range of oilcloth products including tote bags, book bags and aprons.
